What data format is required to use Honey?

Honey uses Excel or CSV reports exported from your CRM, containing:

  • Opportunity creation and close dates
  • Forecasting fields
  • Monetary values (consistent currency)
  • Sales cycle durations
  • Historical, current, and future dates (typically last year, this year, and next year)

Additional fields for targeted criteria (people, campaigns, accounts, etc.) can also be included.

How do I upload my sales data into Honey?

After the initial upload, data uploads can be done manually via the Honey dashboard or automatically by emailing your data file from a registered email to uploads@honey-ba.com. Please use the HELP button in the Header, for the on screen walk through OR HOW TO VIDEOS button to watch the UPLOADING DATA FILES Video.

Is Honey compatible with my existing CRM system?

Yes. For an Individual on Sales or Manager Plan, provided you can download your data from your CRM system, into a CSV or Excel file, you can then upload to Honey-BA.

Yes. For an Enterprise, Honey seamlessly integrates with popular CRM systems and complements your existing CRM by providing enhanced, predictive analytics capabilities.

What information is available on the Honey dashboard?

The Honey dashboard provides clear visuals and detailed tables showing actual vs. target performance across selected KPIs, as well as gap analysis. You can filter data by salesperson, region, campaign, account, and more, identifying immediate opportunities for improvement.

How do I customize my dashboard view?

You can customize dashboard views using filters (people, campaigns, accounts, regions), date ranges, and specific KPIs. Customized views can be saved as favorites for quick, dynamic access.

How can I set sales targets in Honey?

Targets are set via the “Set Targets” wizard accessible from the dashboard. Managers can enter targets manually or use an Excel template for bulk uploads. Targets can be set for multiple dimensions (regions, products, sales types) with adjustable seasonal weighting per quarter.

Can targets be adjusted after being set?

Yes. Targets can easily Adjusted or Cleared in the Target Wizard.

  • ADJUST individual numbers and then saved to the Dashboard, using the “Save Targets” button.
  • CLEARED Totally, using the “Clear All Targets” button, then saved to the Dashboard, using the “Save Targets” button

How does Honey update my Targets over time?

Targets are updated daily, based on the criteria input by the user. When you update you data, the targets shown will be correct as at that date.
